The oldest market on the island, still keeping its rural character and a small livestock section.
About Mercat de Sineu
The Sineu market has been running every Wednesday for more than 700 years, making it the oldest continuous market on Mallorca. What makes it unique is that it's one of the very few remaining livestock markets in Spain — you'll find chickens, rabbits, sheep and goats being traded alongside the more usual stalls of fresh produce, sobrassada, bread, pottery and leather. The market fills the historic centre of Sineu, which is worth a stroll on its own.

💡Visitor tips
Parking can be tricky — come early. The livestock area is tucked away behind the church, don't miss it. Try a pa amb oli at one of the bars afterwards.
