Es Trenc

Campos, South Mallorca

Over two kilometres of fine white sand and turquoise water, often compared to the Caribbean. The most celebrated unspoilt beach on the island.

About Es Trenc

Es Trenc stretches along the southern coast of Mallorca between Colònia de Sant Jordi and Ses Covetes, offering one of the Mediterranean's most striking paradise landscapes. The beach sits within a protected natural area (Es Trenc-Salobrar de Campos), which has shielded it from the hotel developments seen elsewhere on the island. You will find fine white sand, shallow turquoise water, low dunes, and a backdrop of pine trees and salt marshes rather than buildings. Part of the beach is an official nudist zone, while the rest is family-friendly. Some sections offer sunbeds and beach bars, and others are completely wild.

How to get there

From Palma take the Ma-19 motorway south, then follow signs to Campos and Ses Covetes. There is also paid parking at the main entrance near Colònia de Sant Jordi. A shuttle bus connects Ses Covetes with the central part of the beach during summer.

💡Tips for visiting

Arrive before 10:00 or after 17:00 to avoid the peak crowds in July and August. Bring cash for parking. The sand is very fine and reflects a lot of sun, so hat and sunscreen are essential.
